What You Don't Know Can Hurt You.

SESSION DESCRIPTION:

We’ve all been there: a coworker is underperforming or making a mistake that impacts your work. You are frustrated, but unsure whether you should let it go or say something. You don’t want to be mean, overly critical, or awkward. So you stay silent, and just stew. Or maybe you impulsively blurt out your thoughts and instantly regret how they landed. This session is for anyone who’s ever struggled to give helpful feedback, receive tough feedback without getting defensive, or ask for honest input without it feeling weird. Through candid conversations and practical tools, you’ll learn how to contribute to a workplace culture where feedback flows freely and constructively, without damaging trust or morale.

PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN HOW TO:

- Give feedback that is clear, kind, objective, and actionable.
- Receive feedback with openness even when it stings.
- Ask for feedback in a way that encourages candor.
- Tactfully navigate difficult conversations when you disagree with someone’s perspective.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN THIS WORKSHOP?

- Individual contributors
- People leaders
- Executive & senior leaders
