It's Better to Talk with Each Other Than About Each Other

SESSION DESCRIPTION:

Small Talks are high-energy, facilitator-led workshops that help teams listen, learn, and connect in meaningful ways. These sessions create a learning environment that is real (honest dialogue), safe (no judgment or attack), and intentionally a little uncomfortable (conversations people often avoid but need to have).

Small Talks have a consistent impact: in every session delivered, whether with brand-new colleagues or teams who have worked together for decades, 100% of participants report learning something new about their co-workers. That simple insight fuels stronger trust, more empathy, and connections that carry into daily work.

Through active listening and perspective-taking, participants uncover new insights about themselves and each other, and they leave inspired to continue the conversation beyond the session. The result is more open communication and more effective collaboration.

PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN HOW TO:

Reaction
Participants receive a prompt or pre-work assignment (e.g. read an article, watch a TED Talk) and then engage in a deep dive conversation to share their reaction to it.

Remix
Participants are organized into small groups (5-6 people per group) with each group having a deep dive conversation about a designated workplace topic. Groups are periodically shuffled so people have the chance to hear diverse perspectives and build relationships across lines of difference.

Mastermind
Participants collaborate with a small group of peers to brainstorm how to address a specific challenge within your business. The goal is to have an engaging conversation that culminates with actionable next steps.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN THIS WORKSHOP?

- Individual contributors
- People leaders
